hi
just some info on dunkirk on the way back
Shopping in Dunkirk
Dunkirk is also a shoppers paradise. The perfect place to stop off at the start or end of your holiday, there's something for everyone:

400 town centre shops including all your favourite brands - H&M, Mango, Kookai, Esprit…as well as French cosmetics and perfume classics such as Sephora and Marionnaud. Parking is not a problem, with 1000 free places next to the Centre Marine and the Pole Marine, the town's two covered shopping malls.
Visit the largest Auchan Hypermarket in France.

now did the wife say she was coming????

I must apologize for not stating it in my initial post for this trip to wolfsburg that it is open to paid members only, this way if anything does go wrong with the trip by way of inappropriate behavior and bringing the club into disrepute it is for the club committee to deal with and this can't be done if tbe person or persons going are just a registered user.

So just a little more incentive to become a paid member and get more benefit from the club.

Cheers Dave.

Cheers, Dave.

It has been suggested by Sir Gammy that it would be possible to take in the "ring" on the way, this would take the form of going to the ring on the Sunday travel, hotel it that night in the area, spend 2 hrs there and travel to Wolfsburg for lunchtime on the monday check in, the have a drink or 2 in hamburg that night and Tuesday doing the factory and museum.

lets not forget that the closing date for this is the end of Demember 2011 so we can make final ferry/hotel bookings, otherwise there will be a reserve list on a first come on the list basis.

Cheers, Dave.

Dave, I've just seen the comment about cars with low clearance with regard to the ferry.
Do you think that will be a problem for me or anyone else who is is lowered? Ax

Is the 'ring' a definite? Im not totally against the idea as Im quiet happy crusing around taking in the sceneary. But if theres only a couple of people wanting to go round it out of say 15-20 of us. Is it worth the extra time and travel cost. Who actually wants to go round?
