my swallowtail is called Betty after its original owner.

My gti is "rocky" iv had it nearly 5 years, it's had new engines, clutch, 2 new gearboxes, 2 full resprays, 3 interiors……..the list goes on…………..so like rocky balboa, it's keeps getting knocked down but always gets back up!!!!!,        

My clipper is named "TEE-Clopp"

mines called son of bitch olny because i can't be botherd to change the battery

My tintop is called Elvis lol

Basicalli i'd named my cabby Karmann (very original lol) and i'd just got the tintop.

Was talking to my boyfriend about it a few days after i got it and was trying to think of a name, then the video for Robbie Williams - Advertising Space came on MTV, Obviously that song was written about Elvis Presley…

So for a laugh i suggested i call the tintop 'Elvis' to which my boyfriend laughed and took the pee out of me for and then i decided i actually really liked the name so it stayed!!………




and the boyfriend went!

I've been trying to name my car something other than Gertie for ages now but it still seems to be that or WEV but I think she should be Geneveeve it's german and means white wave and my volvo is called Vera

The camper on the other hand has been Gina since day one.  Orange Gina

I got a name for mine now, " brooke " don't know why just fits

i call mine nigel… its a secret name that only i know as im embarrassed (sp) about the name.

Right, this comes about after someone was taking the p!ss out of me for naming my car, saying only girls name their cars.  And I reckon most on here have named theirs and most aren't in fact girls!  So, who has named their car…and what are your cars' names?  Kind of a meet and greet for the cars this  So first off, mine's Gertie, or Gertrude when she's naughty!!!

My first car was a Hillman Imp called Gertrude! And i had a '72 campervan called Alice and a '72 beetle called Keith. My cab is called Bunny cos of the Rabbit badge on her bum. Old cars have a personality so end up with names. I know lots of blokes who have proper names for their cars.
Newer cars never get names in our gaff, but the aged ones always do! And they never get changed either, oh no!
Once its named, you gotta keep it!  

Mines called Hatty the old owners christened her that and it's stuck.
