That bonnet picture is lush Jelly!! What I'd advise getting is a remote where you can do interval timing. Cost me £13 and you can make things like this quick vid I did of traffic http://vimeo.com/31574450
It's photography, but not as we know it Jim!

Yeah it's good fun. Another one is to spin the camera through about 45 degrees to get a swirly effect Just experiment and follow no rules I say (possible exception… the rule of thirds)

Went out with my micro four thirds camera today about 100 yards from where my house is being built
These are straight from the camera.
Have ordered some filters to enable me to use even longer shutter times.

Cheers mate.
Ive ordered a circular polarising filter, mainly for capturing blue sky in summer.
And I went for a neutral density filter so I can get slower shutter speeds.
Hows your course going?

course is brilliant, loving it
I've just bought a set of 100mm sqaure filters, with a 10 stop ND so will soon be able to do seriously long exposures
Circular polarising filters are very usefull i have them for my lenses, here's 2 of mine with the filters, just have to remeber to turn them sometimes
a circular polariser will allow you to run longet exposures, i think they take things down 1 or 2 stops
do you have an iphone ceri?

There great mate.
Thats the sort of shots I would be doing.
Im not to clued up on filters as ive never really used them.
Am I right in thinking a circular polarising filter is split into 2 halfs?
No I dont have an iphone mate, im on android.

Ill start doing more photography when I move into my house as the scenery on my doorstep is great.
