My L Reg Sportline just failed Mot due to no Cat?

so lets get this straight you took your car to a garage who are known for trying to sell you parts you dont need (mostly due to presure from head office to meet targets, but also the staff are on commission) and you are suprised that they tried to sell you at least a cat if not full exhaust, i would have loved to see them try to fit a mk3 system though     .there is a reason the mot was cheap.

  complain to vosa and dont ever go there again, ever!
