As said when they are extracted they should return to original size.

All emails so far are good. Norm mate, I've looked at yours and they are nice shots but a little on the small side, might JUST make it with a little help though.

My shots are small?

If I view them on my laptop (19" screen) and click 'actual size' it zooms right in.

There massive on my laptop.

Below we have one of Norm's great images and you can see the resolution.



Here we have a shot selected at random that is high enough resolution to be used.



You see, although the image may look fine on screen you have to remember it depends on the screen resolution that's set. Plus screens view at 72dpi so unless you zoom in and check the res you'll never know. I've scaled the res up to 200dpi and that's at the bottom end of print. I'd prefer 300dpi.

Look at the massive difference in the Pixel Dimensions!

Without going in to boring detail about inter plotting etc I hope that helps.

Never mind, theres always next year.

If I really don't get enough in or if yours despite being on the small side is still one of the best then I WILL work on it to get it in there.

Like with anyone who submits an image though I can't make any promises.

Theres a few others in the bunch I think are better.

I'm sorting my images out in photoshop - and I've scaled the DPI to 200 (my images didn't like going up to 300) and it seems I'll have to zip my photos as they're print size is over 1m squared! 8)

P.S. The 4 images total 90mb

I've sent you a PM mate. Don't retouch the photos though will you. They all have to look like a set so the treatment needs to be pretty universal.

As to the size they should be okay pretty much whatever res thy are. Save them as jpg files with a medium compression, then zip them up and send.

We have a little time on this yet although I don't want people to relax and put it off. I need images in asap so that I can start planning up the months with relevant images. I'd say I need everything in by the end of September very latest. I will post a date up nearer the time though.

One or two are still sending in links and small images. Richy mate those are very nice but just not big enough to use.

Someone else sent a couple of images but they are so retouched I can't use them.

Please hi res and unmolested.
