The link I sent you shows the later seals being fitted to an early frame, so yes when fitting later you need to pull the seal forward to the header and fit the self tapper.

Ah ha ha, yep how much easier would it make fitting if they were pre stretched and ready to go.
Knowing my luck it would be an earlier model, leaving me head scratching for a while lol.
Yet still the roof looks lovely.
Don't help the A pillars trims are missing I suppose?
It's good to know the later seals etc can be swapped.
However it's good to know they still leak whether early or late.

new roof handle with lock, with both screws in!!!! has pulled my roof alot more flush than it was and ive now adjusted the handles to get a best possible flush fit, now header gasket thingy and seals to fit off a later model, this week weather dependant

On the later models there is a plactic plug at the front to take the screw.
