A little update.

Engine has been progressed while I am away at work by Andy at North East Auto Tech. He sent me these photos as a little mock up.

Waiting on cams, conrods, pistons, clutch, blanks (dizzy etc) and bolt kit amongst other things but it's good to see some progress.

The gearbox is back and fully refurbished too.

Finally sourced some Recaro seats for the car. Obviously they need a retrim but hopefully I can decide on something splendid for them. Home from work on Wednesday so hopefully things can be pushed along.

Wow, I love this thread. Makes me want to strip down my Cab and respray, I just don't have the money to do it.

How hard was it to take the hood off, I am tempted as want to see what is underneath, but don't want to go damaging a roof that's only a couple of years old.

The hood is pretty easy to remove, my rear cable was corroded with the water ingress over the years and it snapped when trying to remove it. Just be careful not drop it as it's pretty heavy, especially with the glass in place!

That's coming along nicely. Engine looks mint - well, it all does!!    

Can't believe I've missed this one- it's coming on really well and there's some lovely attention to detail in there. Do you mind if I ask about the rad set up you have- what specific rad it is, the fan and brackets? Looks like it may sit under the slam panel? But it also has a header tank- all interesting to me… thanks for any details.
