Square light grill

Hi All,

Ive seen a couple of golfs with the different grill using 4 square lights - looks like a rallye golf mk2 but smaller - What is this kit called? Can you still get it?

I have owned 2 Westmoreland Rabbits of 1979 vintage - both had a square 2 headlamp grille where the lights were quite large.  I also had an '83 Rabbit that had a twin (4) headlight grille where the lamps where much smaller in width and depth with two each positioned side by side at each side of the grille …I believe the later (Mk1) US Jettas shared this 4 light grille.

They're horrible. Kamei did them for Mk1s. I think there's a kamei conversion mk1 on ebay at moment. Really hideous and can't stand them……..imho :?

Poor Campaign , it was all the rage….25 yrs ago. £2k seems alot for a car in need of lots of tlc

indeed. horrid lights, awesome wheels and cool spoiler. they also did a twin headlight grille with 4 lights all the same. even more horrid.

Mk1collector, I properly like your caddy  :notworthy: That early westmoreland grille rocks, I take it you need an appropriate front panel to match the grille & light combo or does is fit a standard front end?

Thankyou, yes you either need a different front panel or the ability to make your own as the grille is about an inch deeper than a euro one also you need right had drive square lights and backings for the square lights which are hard to come by

I quite like the kamie/zender kits too, i think the square light front end looks rad and the arches, i nice change from the norm. Body kits rock!!!!
