And the crowd is forming… we are going to look sooooooo cool rolling in as a club to Santa Pod  8)  8)  8)  8) …. haven't met some of you yet… think I'm looking forward to mingling with our crowd more than the show itself  

17 mk1 golfs in a convoy….. the weather turning for the better…. show season starting…. drag strip, a massive showing by us for the mk1 golf and this club…… only two weeks away!!!

18 cars thats madness!!!  Two weeks today hope it's as sunny as it is now… we'll look sooooooooooooo cool  :mrgreen:

TIMETABLE OF EVENTS

9.00am Signing on for Sprints.
10.00am Track opens, Show & Shine assembly, Girlz N Dubz assembly.
11.30am Show & Shine judging starts, Dizzy Rascals circuit opens.
1.00pm Lunch/Show & Shine judging ends
2.00pm Track re-opens, Dizzy Rascals circuit closes.
2.45pm Show & Shine reassembly at Show & Shine Arena.
3.30pm Show & Shine Award Presentations.
4.00pm Sprint Trophy presentations, followed by run from each winning car.
5.00pm Track closes.

does this meen that if you want to sprint you have to be ther for 9.
 or can you signe on later on as i was planing on joining in the convoy fun at j15.

sebs not sure, you may have to be there pre 9 for morning run, but perhaps you could sign up for afternoon run if you get there a little later. im up for meeting with you then meeting with other boys at Junc 15 as well, maybe we should try and get there for 10.00, dont wana miss the girs and bubz lol :-)

i just googled j15 of the m1 and there is a travel lodge there so i may go down the night before it will save me geting up at 5:30 - 6 am
as  the aa planer is saying it will take me 3 1/2 houres.

blimey your only and hour for me, so looks like ive got a bit more of a drive then anticipated

we only have 10 spaces on the club stand, he did metion applying for more but not sure if this has been done

I'm just happy to cruise up with a load of other Mk1's

i second that, however i say domination is the way forward. get there early like a few of us did last year, and we'll try n squeeze in, bare in mind guys the queue to get the where we want to get to is HUGE!! double file traffic once we are in the gates and is alot of very slow stop start stop starts so make sure you have plenty of water in case you start over heating lol. this is going to be mental!

Unfortunately my mk1 is not going to be ready, so knock me off the list please.
