no mate changed my mind and put an original s2 dash back in

been nearly a year since I lasted updated this  

few snaps iv'e had it at work for last week trying to sort the brakes out as the drivers rear has no fluid coming through it i'm thinking its the compensator valve so have bought some cabby regulators and doing away with it.

iv'e not even had it on the road yet   but will get it set up on the rolling road when it's done.

new filler neck turned up today nice genuine one from Germany. going to pop it round to the powder coaters and get it powder coated.

This is an epic build and really inspiring my G60 build, at least you seem to have light at the end of the tunnel!!

When you delete the Idle Valve do you just unplug it electrically and blank off the hole on the manifold?

yes that's correct you can buy a dump valve bung that fits straight in the pipe.

been trying to get my rad plumbed in but finding it inpossible to get the bottom hose around to the pump, im not using a top fill like you have but connections seem to be roughly the same, i just cant get a hose past the charger u bend/oil cooler filter housing, not sure if i have the correct hose as i bought the car as an unfinished project, any ideas or photo's help very much appriciated.

I used a mk1 1.5 bottom hose its tight but fits spot on.

Cheers just giving it some shakedown time. So far I have managed to catch the exhaust clamp and snap it in half today it burnt out the ht lead and blew the bottom boost hose off  But all in all been very reliable  

Love ur mk1 mate like all the wee touches. Wheels set it right off. Iv got a carbon roof for mine was thinking just going over the top of the old one thou. 

Then it'll be newton commercial time for me.. Gotta love there stuff

attended the local show yesterday on the brayford.cracking day out and managed to bag myself a trophy and some goodies
