I attempted the same project as you with virtually no skill and a lot of hope.
Mine got MOT'd a few weeks back and it flies.
HUGE thanks to BEN and TOYOTEC as the guys with all the answers and they'll keep you on course for the finish.
I think we can repay them by beating them up the strip

People use megasquirt because it is cheap to buy and doesn't need the clocks and ignition from the MK4 donor. Megasquirt is about £250 whereas Emerald is about £650. Qpeng maybe more.
If you get it set up properly by someone who knows what they are doing then it will be fine. Toyotec knows his stuff inside out and can map them very well.

your making great progress on this one. i knew the car before you got it, and it was a tidy car then. with the 20V its going to be great! Plus Helios Blue is a great colour!! Good luck and keep the updates coming, i'm also doing a 20V conversion so will be keeping an eye on it.

yeh thats where i got this from peterborough. you got a thread with the silver 1
no mate, sorry nothing on the silver one. i'm not happy with it at the moment, and not sure how to fix the bits that need doing myself. It runs, but needs the boost controller and temp guage wiring up somehow. it's running emerald, and was mapped to 150 as a base until i get the rest of the bits sorted… one day!

If its a german langauge issue I can help you out there. I speak some but work with half a dozen fluent speakers… being as they are german!
Have spoke to my german mate Tonio and he's going to ask them if they ship to the UK.
They have the G60 coversion mounts for €149! Always knew Gwerks and the like were over charging!
