Paint looks spot on, and I like the way you are keeping the 1.1, looks so nice tidyed up, new bolts, nuts, clips etc 8)

Thanks every one for the comments,  i really appreciate them :D ! it makes me keep going!
Anyway here are more pictures as promised

Engine all back together and runs silky smooth, starts at the turn of the key  :mrgreen:


still need to put scuttle cover on, put water washer hose in and fill holes in with blanking grommets










seats have been re-trimmed to as near as original




New carpets and boot liner from newton commercial, really impressed with them :D


Starting to put all the interior back in, ive been waiting for this for a long time :lol:


New rear lights from Crazy Quiffs


The colour of the car looks different in every picture  :?




Hope you all like what ive done so far, im just waiting for the chrome bumpers and chrome grill surround to arrive from Crazy Quiffs, and will get some more pictures up soon.

amazing my friend, i have a 1.1 and di the same, rebuilt it form bottom up, just wish i had the time to clean the engine bay! lovely car though. oh and the beetle is a beaut!

Managed to get a some more pictures last night!

some pics of the chrome side strips once fitted, i like! :mrgreen:






Also fitted rear seat and door cards fitted






And a pic of the new headlining



The chrome bumpers and grill arrived today so will be fitted this weekend and i will post the pics up  :mrgreen:

Thanks Purton, i got them retrimmed at HRS auto trimmers, they are in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire,

Sorry been really busy the past few weeks so couldent post pics up,

Realise this is an old thread but I really like your car and some quality work has gone into it. I've just bought an "N" but cant find out much information about it. Do you mind me asking is your interior how it would of originally looked from the factory as I want to put mind back to standard.
