mk1 16v project

the bloke that is spraying it is doing it this sunday he sed cuz he wont get time otherwise cuz they are really busy at the moment, and also cuz he's really eager to get it sprayed as well (good to see hes got passion for wat he does) caint wait lol woop woop    

Wow looks really straight, look forward to seeing it gleaming…I am justa  few steps ahead of you, mine is back from the being resprayed, now just starting to build it back together…………trying desperatly not to put any scratches on it….which is NOT easy lol. Good luck with yours :-)

well wen i get it back i gotta save up a bit more dosh so i can get the interior redone cuz its missing floor carpet, headling, wiring for a stereo, im a bit lucky cuz the place where i work there is the bodyshop that its being sprayed at and also a trimmings guy that does pretty much any kind of trimmings for cars on the industrial estate, but might have a go at the headling myself cuz its a bit expensive for this bloke to do it.

Havent really got any proper pics yet, although if you find my build thread on here you can get an idea......hoping to take loads of pics this weekend when I work on her, my problem is the car is not stored at my house currently (no garage) :-(I dont know how to link you to my thread...will post a few quick pics on here for you, but not that good as car was in garage at time.

Having real problems with this site at the moment...will keep trying to post a pic.

I just bin to the bodyshop n sin that me car has bin sprayed finally :mrgreen:  :mrgreen: , but unfortunatly they wudnt let me see it, it had a sheet covering it from the dust n stuff, also they sed that they have this tradition that once the paint goes on they dnt let the customer see it until its finished, aaaaahhhhhhhhhh    it was so frustrating lol  just wanted to lift the sheet up n see it, but he sed i will get it back on the weekend, cant wait

hey ppl just put the front windscreen on me car today OH MY GOD WAT A MISSION lol , done quite a bit of work on the car over the past few weekends , put the headlining in the mirrors n stuff, i shall take some photos and put em on here soon

cant wait to see the up dates, hope the roof liner went well and wernt to much of a mission lol

i got the car bcak a good few weeks ago now and this is wat it looked like wen i got it back(its was a goin dark wen i took the photos so they ent the best

the last to where with the windscreen in obviously lol wat a mission that was lol the pic above the paint job dont look to bad, it wen u take a longer look at the car where u start to notice how bad the job is thats been done, theres a few cracks in the paint, dents in the bonnet???? how did they not notice them? idiots, ive taken it to get the electrics done this week and the dash is bein put back in so wen hes done ill be sending it back to them, heres a few photos of the headlining aswell (lol not very good pics) ill take some better ones wen i get chance
