he fixed it last time but it didnt last that long, i found a fuse that had blown it was an 8amp, my indicators dontwork either, the spark sed i need an indicator switch? but not sure if he meant relay switch or the actual stalk?

^^ from memory my fuse is much bigger than 8amp

I am organising the drive up to CumbriaVAG on the 12th Dec

Sorry for the late reply. The front part is in two sections, drivers and passenger sides, which open from the centre and tilt up like the old type sunroof or can be removed seperately and fit in the boot. Apparently the whole roof sections go into the boot like a jigsaw but not yet tried it.

on another note,  anyone up for a run to the cumbria vag meet Sunday 12th December 2pm there.. not checked with the missus yet, just trying find out who would be up for an afternoon out..  its about 45 mins drive from B&Q Bamber bridge

Cabby is not quite as good as it looks on the picture.

Not sure what colour to do the roof really (maybe leave it yellow/ matt black/ or gloss black?) what do you think will suit the green cab best?

Yes, mine looks better in pics too

the colour of your cabby looks the same as the green rivage.. A green Rivage would have a black mohair hood,  ..  so dunno I would be tempted with  matt black.   but you probably wont it to look a bit different..  maybe match the green paint (Classic Green Pearl LC6U I think, check your sticker) or even  metallic black to emphasize the hard top

..might be wrong about that paint colour, just checked cabby info and there are loads of greens that are very similar, so check your sticker
