I'm in Swansea so just down the road, Golf is in for an MOT so fingers crossed I should be there.  Body is still looking a bit tatty mind, but I'm slowly getting there.

 things have come along from the first thread i posted gowing back a good few monthes ago.
 i have been away working for a while but i can see taffygoat has taken controle of the situation.
 sory i mised the heritage park mate i wasent about at the time but as for the meet in sarn on the 7th add me on.
 i will not be in the mk1 sportline thow as i have mothballed her for the winter monthes. but will still be dubing it in my new bora 2.3 v5 beast.
 it will be so good to see sum fellow mk1 fans and drivers so add me on the list

Only 3 ended turning up today, me, zeus and Taffygoat.  So only 2 mk1s in total, bit of a let down really.

Sorry guys. I did come up to Bridgend (shopping), though I was late (kids…) so didn't come round as you had planned to go off for a drive…

I think organising a regional meet is always going to be difficult and don't envy you guys trying to get it off the ground!
When my Golf is back on the road, I will definitely come…

hi all

thanks to zeus and alex(welsh-mk1) for turnng up, where were the rest of you, after posting to some 55 in south wales and some 12 people responding it was a complete let down for me , however as my clipper is off the road at present ,overheating problem, it will be in the garage for winter.
i will be trying again in february/march next year and if this fails give up the regional  side of things.
