This is just the usual meet ACE have, I've been to loads of these. Personally I was thinking more of a MK1 Meet rather than tagging along on a general kinda thing. Anyway it's good for me too.
As for VAG it just stands for Volkswagen AG. 'AG' is like LTD or PLC, that's all.

come on the rest of you,put the date on your calender and commit to it
We all sit back and think " yeah i fancy that, i'll see what happens nearer the date" but something else always comes up
So make it a date and remember youve got 3 weeks to get into your partners good books

There doesn't really seem to much actual support at the moment, maybe a meeting at the Ace in the spring when the days are longer and more cars come back onto the road?
I've just spent a week touring through Spain with other enthusiasts but we all have the time and opportunity, this is something that has always been in short supply on this forum.
Maybe it is the demographic or just a tribal thing?
Next year we head to Cherbourg to run the length of the French west coast before we return via Santander- I can gaurantee that there will be only one member of the Mk1 forum taking part amongst 10+ MGOC, even a couple of Ford Classics.

There is a few more people on the facebook link that have said they might go too.
It does happen very often that not many people reply to show thread, if you look at some of the big VW shows like International or E38 not a lot of people replied to the show thread but it seamed like lots of forum users went.
