yes, i've always fancied a car with em on!…. nice work mate….  as already said what other plans you got? oh and thanks for the details, shame ive got to spend my money getting mine back together, haven't got cash to change my plans just yet.

Looks good, I do like mk1's with berg kits.  
You keeping it red or you going to spray it another colour?

I wish i could of kept it hotrod style lol but the looks a copper gave me when i took it off the trailor at home was enough to convince me to berg cup it .

before it hits the paint shop ….

how wide are the arches compared to the originals?

are you putting on the front spoiler,never seen it with just arches done?

what width wheels do you need to fill them properly?

 There 5 inches at the top and 7 inches at the bottom …… I'm not putting the spoiler on the front as it spoils the original lines of the car .

wheel size is 13x8 with a stretched 175/60/13 tyre

the wheels fit the arches better than i ever hoped for and i totally love the look ..

Hi there …… once the arches were plasma cut off i riveted the new ones in place making sure they didn't interfere with the road wheels, each arch has around 25 rivets holding it firm……. then i fiberglassed over the top of them to bridge the step between body and arch then to finish it off nice and smooth i used some p45 easy sand filler to give it a nice shape .

took around 4 days to get to this stage but then again i wasn't in any rush lol .
