cheers guys pushing on through with it started stripping my doors tonight so will have them in paint befor you no it

ebo il be goin mate just wont be taking the golf unfortanatly shes gunna be a 2012 car for the shows will go to a few little meets about the place nearer the end of the year

with one of my doors stripped out i got to work on cuttin the rust and rot out of it ( chose the worse one first )

just to update you guys i have purchased 2 brand new wings and a repair panel for the bottom of my door shall receive these monday / tuesday then il be cracking on again

havent realy been doin much as i have been waitin for my wings and repair panel

anyway they arrived

so no hangin around got the repair panel welded in tonight need to try the door and wing on the car now for slight adjustment gettin correct door to wing and door to door gaps right

also received my blue paint

rust cut out / cleaned / etched



new door bottom just tacked in place as i may have to make a slight adjustment

Nice job on the door there Will you have to put more spot weld in? (that's a question, not a criticism btw) just curious as didn't know if a skim of filler would crack without more weld?

yes more welding to be done this was only trial as i may have had to cut bits off but didnt was playin it safe

changin the colour of the wheels to white now guys ditching the blue and pink theme going with white on white with gloss black roof + trims ect ect

finished fully welding my door tonight and got it glassed up pushing on through

nice project mate, you goin qpeng or using the original ecu, clocks etc
iv almost finished puttin an AUQ engine in my corrado should be on the road in the net couple of weeks.
i used the clocks, ecu, ignition etc form the donar car.
thinkin of doin the same with a mk1, but maybe add a garret turbo for a laf

yeah i will be using Q-peng also aswell as boltin a k03s turbo on and an LSD

started workin on gettin the engine in now FINALY

got my g60 fly wheel and vr6 clutch on and my 02A gearbox

had to make a plate to protect stones and dirt from gettin into my fly wheel as there was a little space between the engine and box

cut my aircon and alternator bracket down and im still yet to do my cambelt and water pump plus the mk2 golf 16v tensioner

i shall get the mounts on and drop the engine in
