Car Wash ??

     Can anyone tell me if they have been brave enough to take their Convertible through a car wash ? …………… :?

LOL…. I'd say most wash them by hand… I haven't got one but if I did I'd hand wash it… a convertible that age… I wouldn't trust it and besides I'd be scared it'd scratch it  

i have been threw in a megane it was fine but don't know if i would with a car this age probly rip the rag of the frame lol

My hubby has often said " Go on you will be fine ". But to be honest i would never chance it ! People with tin tops are so lucky that way . But I guess I only have to wash half my car being a soft top !!!!

been through in my old car was sound, the mk1 cab claimed on the adverts to be able to go through with no worries so i tested it haven't done it will my mohair though dunt wanna knackar it

Yep , seen the Ads, mines Mohair too…….So am not going to risk it !!….i do not want to be like  Top Gear when they took through there MPV Convertible and set fire to the Car Wash !!!!!!!!!!!!

Never been through in mind, and never will. Thats not to say the lazy-careless guy in me is tempted.

Makes me laugh/shake my head when i see people with their new expensive cars going in a car wash. Just cant believe people want to wreck their pride and joy.

take it to a hand car wash and tell them not to spray the hood  :dontknow:

I personally like cleaning my car so don't bother me!

I like cleaning mine too so I'd hand clean it… if not then ^^ what he said ^^

I wouldn't even take my tin-tops in there…. I wash them all by hand… love the way it looks at the end knowing I done it  :mrgreen:

I take my bmw to the car hand wash - golf - same as others, always always wash myself

Its not the roof im too worried about. Its buggering the paintwork that i dont understand people are ok with..

Washed , Chamoised, Waxed and polished ! I can now see my face in it…..and you know it's just going to rain tomorrow now !
