newbie from swansea updates

right updade time guys!!i posted the first pics in the newbie sectionbut thought id better start here to update my progress

today i fitted my new seats

new front lower splitter and my sunvisors.

the rears arent bolted in yet because im still waiting for my door cards to arive.

hopefully tomorrow i'll give it a nice tfr and a good jetwashing!

the rear soundproofed and built back up






flatted and polished the wing tonight after work to see how well it would polish up.the paint was in shocking state!!!

and heres the results after half hour with 3m fastcut and fine compound

finished it off with poorboys blue paste wax







just the whole car left to do!!!!lol

My Golf has been off the road for a couple of years though I am really missing it so dusted it off ans started doing some work last weekend.
I have some rust issues - nothing too serious. Front panel had a fair bit of the paint lift and allow some surface rust to develop, so I have wirebrushed it all off and will be painting that up soon. Then I need to have a look at the rear arches as they seem to be deteriorating quite quickly now that some rust has set in…

ah right thats what i like to see.get stuck in!

do you guys think i should dye the roof black?it has a mohair roof but its green.thought you guys were the experts and id see what you lot thought.lol

i spoke to renovo and they said that there recolour kit if applied twice will dye the mohair

Green is defo not a colour I would put with black.

I think it will look a lot cleaner and neater black
