It's so gutting to hear about it!
If it's any use, i've got a de-badged hella front grill with fog lamps but depends on whether you want a twin or single lamp.
Hope you get it sorted soon enough!

Can anyone help me out with this front panel? Also how much do you think its going to cost for a bodyshop to grind the old one out and fit the new one? ill paint it myself if I need to for now

depends whereabouts you are! theres plenty of us skilled with the old welder for the right price/amount of beer lol
paint wise you should be able to get a reasonable rattle can finish if you pick a good day as the front panel isn't uber visible once all fitted up.
the wing may need doing properly though

Just sort of after a average cost for a bodyshop to do it?

There's a good chance its insured - did you accurately record where on the road you were when the collision occured? And did you call the police (as I think you're required to do when you hit an animal)?

Cherry Willingham Body Works

I have seen some of the work they do and would say it was very good but can't recommend them as they have never done any work on my cars .
Plenty of front panels on Ebay , and you may still be able to get one from Hadrian LMC .

So I hit that fucking deer on Saturday evening on the a46 in Lincolnshire but I was in work for 2 more nights - sunday night and last night (monday night) So I left the car in works carpark and just bummed lifts for the two days until I planned to call the breakdown/recovery people this morning and get towed up to my house. I rang the company and they point blank refused to recover me unless I was willing to stop by the accident assessment centre and they would write my car off! Fuck that I thought so I was sitting there at 08:00 this morning thinking how I could bodge up the car to make the 130 or so miles home. I had a vacume leak because of the bust injector housing so a quick rummage in the boot revealed two elastic bands, a ASDA carrier bag, a single silicone glove and a roll of bodge tape - so I made this
Note the glove blocking the ISV return pipe at the top left and then I ripped the bag in two and laccy banded it around the two parts of the 5th injector housing that had came apart. And as the bonnet doesn't close I also did this, got some funny looks on the motorway!
So I didn't even go strait home I drove strait to a local bodyshop and struck up a sweet deal for the front panel welding that needs doing, basically I supply the panel and do as much of the work myself and he only does the welding and charges me for that bonus. A quick phone call to BBT and I have a full front panel on its way to me, it will be here tomorrow. So I got back home and then started to look at the vacume leaks, this is why I needed the three blocked pipes, as it had snapped clean in two
So I fitted up a spare and now its running fine. Next I got it up on stands and ripped what was left of the grill off as well as the bonnet and the knackard wing (didnt take a pic of wing off, this next one shows the new wing on) did a bit of rust prevention on the inner wing (which is very solid) and fitted a spare wing I have had lying around in the garage for 12 months or so.
The wing was awfull, full of deep scratches and three different colours so I attacked it with the wire wheel and sandpaper
Primer
I only had half a rattle can of VW black so its a bit thin but will prevent it rusting fr now and colour codes it a bit
Then I drove it outside and it looked like this, miles better
I was just thinking to myself, how am I going to get rid of these panels I had ripped off when i heard the rag and bone man. He must of thought he was in luck as I gave him the gearbox I blew up ages ago aswell. Then after a chat with him about how awesome Mk1's are I fitted the Bonnet I have been keeping from Sven all this time and mocked up what the four lamp grill is going to look like
So I have just finished, its been an epic day but it means the car will be back on the road in no time yay! albeit with a red bonnet boooo!
