1.8 KR on ZX9R Bike carbs - How much power

Short answer: yes

Just stumbled across this whilst doing a search as I have some Keihein carbs to fit on my ABF. Did you ever get it sorted brutal? Did another run on another RR confirm it was wrong?

I can remember years ago i bought a Nova Sr. The little 1300. My mate had a Nova with astra 1.8 8v fitted. That wouldnt keep up with my SR. Wish I had it on rolling road. Strange how some cars shouldnt be quick as others….but just are??

I never bunged it back on the rolling road, but did have plenty of fun, I even raced a merc slk350 from the lights and it never left my side they push about 350bhp.
It was fun. I popped  the engine with an oil pump failure that spun a shell, and latter found out that the carbs had an issue that stopped them opperating to fully capacity (apparently). the fooker reved too 9k so i dont see where.

Anyway it was awesome.

Now into T4's - getting old.
