Given up smoking :-(

I quit smoking a little over 2 years ago, I still think about having a smoke at least 2 or 3 times a week, doesnt help that most of my good mates smoke!

I put on about a stone in weight which is only just starting to shift now. But it was worth it, i feel so much better for not smoking, no coughing fits and i have much more energy.

Just dont expect that the cravings ill just disappear, but as someone said earlier it is all in your head.

Good luck.

PS i used Champix to help me through the first 6 months….

I used to smoke 40-50 per day (benny Hedges), but gave up
12 years ago when my eldest Daughter was born.
If you have ever smoked, you never never get over the smell……
12 years on I could still have one now…… just gets easier year
after year…..  and as for beating more"addictive" substances
big thumbs up to those that have been there / beaten it etc……
Fair play…… its not easy……

No mate im stopping, my girls keep saying they dont want me to die so sort of give you a incentive. :(

Only smoking will be done in the bedroom

Im the same mate smoked proberly 20 reefers a day. 1 is said to be the equivelent of 5 cigarets. So a hell of a lot. My mate used to do alot of cultavateing n testing his own specimins. On chatting one day we noticed we had a lot of paranoia in comon. Lol unfortunely though shortly later he cracked and was dignosed with schizofrenia. Given the similar train of thought i reckoned it was time to stop. Am now 3 years off it and near 6 stone heavier!

Yes i was a porker but change in job left me sitting in a van all day stuffing my face!
