1.1 performance advice !!!

If I'm not mistaken, the FORMEL E has a slightly different gear ratio which enables a higher top speed. I'm sure one of those can cruise along at 80 and only complain slightly.

I just know that my basic 1.1 starts to let me know in no uncertain terms that if I took it anywhere near 80 I'd be sorry.

I've yet to see if it will carry out its threat and I don't wish to.

it should be ok.  you shouldn't be near the redline tbh and it really wont let go unless it hasn't been looked after.

I don't think mine has the "e" box as the revs don't drop when i go into 4th, it still accelerates happily!

it may be my exhaust thats helped tbf although an engine that was well run in in the first place may well be a damn site faster than one that wasn't!!! the first few thousands miles are the most important in an engines life!!!
