Very nice, you have very good taste in cars. I spoke to a Whelsh Gentleman who owned this at one point. I have an original Silver factory right hand drive Oettinger 1800 E/16, that was bough in a German VW Dealership and Imported back in 1983. I have been resoring her since 2003. The reason for the long restoration, was due to finding all genuine VAG old stock parts to restore to better then new. 70,000 Miles with full service history & some GTI Engineering stamps. I have all the parts now and the first stage of the body restoration is complete, so just saving up to get her back to the restorers. It is great to know that these cars still due exist and they need to be looked after like gold as they are so special. Great work

About time you got on with it then, just think you could be driving and enjoying the car instead of looking at a bare shell and lot's of boxes of car bits.
