I have just got a quote from these people, as Footman James do not class my 91 clipper under there classic policy rules, and to say I was amazed is an understatement.
£106.00 a year, is limited miles at only 3000 though.
She said she had included discount for being a member of this club aswell, and also took my membership number.

I also checked there details on the FSA website just incase it was a fake number

Lancaster Insurance £105.00 fully comp, Classic policy 3,000 mile limit. But I had a claim back in Oct 08 too, they beat everybody else.
Was with Adrian Flux but my premium went up from £102.00 last year to £137.00 this year so thats an increas of around 30%.
crazy……

Peter Best are only the broker. I have this policy now running on my cab and am actually insured with Ecclesiastical as posted above.
Was your previous quotes you had for a classic policy as they seem quite high to me
Is a legit company, I checked the FSA details out, and all the paper work is correct that you receive

Peter Best very helpful.
Hi everyone,
After being messed about by Direct Choice, I cancelled my policy that I bought a few weeks ago and phoned Peter Best after reading the comments posted on this forum.
The lady I dealt with was very friendly and helpful and I was offered a very affordable quote on a classic car policy which I accepted on the spot.
I also received a £40+ discount (can't remember the exact amount) by quoting my Mk1 Golf Owners Club number, so my membership has already paid for itself!
I would recommend that you at least give them a ring for a quote next time you're in the market for car insurance.
Kind regards,
Phil
