protype fully made and looking good!!!!

Good news, keep us all posted with feedback on the prototype test. I'll be interested in silver finish ones, when available.

Dont suppose you want to make another set do you bud? Really want a set but cant justify the money.

well i ain't got a clue how much they are worth

so after the set has been sent to the stig for his time and efforts for testing them

i am going to make a set up and stick them on the dreaded ebay to get a price

i can make as many as people want, just not sure on price

Fair play, you've done a great job there - I'm also interested in a set (not polished though).

As for a price, why not add up your time taken to make them, costs of materials to make them and add a bit on for yourself and sell them on here for that - Let's face it, originals are getting harder to find! Then you could also stick some on flea bay at a higher price for the loons that will happily pay over the odds for anything and don't come on here  :wink:

If it was me I would offer these just bare metal, or maybe the option of polished aswell as thats quite easy to do.

If you offer these as a painted option and the silver paint don`t match there OE wheels then they could be arsey and try getting some money back, especially if you intend to sell them on ebay.

Most people looking for them will be looking to refurb or will have already refurbed there wheels anyhow

i can do painted on but they are a pain in the arse and might not match the colour of the wheels

How do you fix these to the wheel? Ill may take a set depending on weather the fixing method is robust or not.

they have a spring steel arrangment on the bac to locate into the centre

i'd take a picture but that would give away my secret

ew has had one on his wheel in the picture and have done around 800mile with it and it hasn't moved

Doesn't sound too bad but from what I've seen originals can go for £25 each, so your copies @ £20 bit high mate, how about £15 each ? Just a suggestion - you should get a lot more interest this way…Can't speak for all, but I'm trying to keep some sort of lid on my budget for non-essential items, car included !
