Thanks it may be clean but it's driving me mad got no 1st and 2nd gear arrrrrrr so fidley to ajust and need 2 of u to do it

that looks so darned clean, sexy, amazing…

it makes me want to get mine looking like that, but quite a while to go… engine bay is sweet, brakes, everything is in my eyes, perfect (apart from wheels) but thats my opinion..

Edit, i've still not found fifth lol, not even tried to adjust anything yet as ive only driven it round the block and only made it to third, but my hunt for gears will be on to so i will feel your pain soon lol

car looks proper rude man, did u use the same alternator off the 2l engine or use a mk1 one?

the alternator is off a 1.8 that was in my m8s mk2 golf hade to make a longer arm for it tho so it could sit under the 45's

ah i see, did you use the bottom alternator mountin bracket off the 2l engine as the one i got ddnt come with one if it did  8O

i think to bracket is from the 1.8 to heres a few pic of the setup

thats brilliant, ino wot i gota do for that bit then, anuva quik one, does the water outlet inbetween  the inlet ports foul the carbs? any modification needed there? cheers mate.

Always liked white MK1's and that is one clean car. What make of lower strut brace is that, I've never seen one with so wide flanges, and is it fixed or adjustable?

this isn't a great photo but my manifold was shaped around it didn't need and modin

sorry tried to find the strut brace on ebay but cant find it i bought it about 2 years ago. its not adjustable
