Yes got the photo the right size. Any way this is me son on me engine he wants a camper van and he said im going to do it up. but he seems to like the split sreens

Hi all i got the last pipe of Samco today a big Thank you to Mark.I ordered them the first week of november 2011 of Venem Motorsport (never again)9weeks later got kit one pipe missing three pipes left over.and only that i went to Samco at u.dubs that i think ive got the pipe today Again thanks to Mark.  So should see some more work going on again soon .But first this week end coming looking at building a roll over jig for me and my mate .so ill get that done and then back on the golf.try and get some pics but you all know buy now haw good my pc skills are.

Welli have put some last bits on and tried to start her but no go.Never mind haveing a go again tomrrow.
Here is some more pics.

So i cant get her going again so I`ve ask a vw specialist to come and have a look .Then i can get onto the body work and move the project on again.
Can`t wait to hear her runing again. :wink:

Hi all so Simon from vw Central in Ellesmere port came and had a look at the car for me because I
Was not getting the fuel pumps working. And he soon got to the bottom off the problem and it was a dodgy
Spade on the coil and a little bend with a small screw driver and it was making proper contact and the pumps jumped into life. Thanks Simon. Still not running yet as battery went flat and it turns slowly to it so close to starting thou .

Me and a mate hae maid a roll oer jig to.

And we tested it on me mates car because im not daft you see .haha

And so back to the cabrio Simon from Central vw will be coming out again to help me as i still cant

Hi all so simon   from   Central   VW Ellesmere Port came out again and got her going for me   . A   BIG THANK YOU  Simon   .  So dizzy was 180   degrees  out  .  And the paddle was out of line in the metering head so it was not lifting properly   .  And also it was running   to week   .   So good to hear it  running   again   after all the late nights in garage   .  Had some teething   problems   like   3   of my injectors are leaking and so did the metering head but that can all be done now she running  .  so  I'm trying to get some time on her now and get cracking again .

Hi just an update  had some fuel leaking from the injeckers so I have  done them again to day and I know have a dry bay .  So tomorrow me and a mate are going to have a go at the gear s connection  . Also I would like to put in a kill switch to kill my fuel pump as the dash is out I think it a good time to do it so if any one can help as I don't know were to start with it . So any photos or  links to threads would be gratefully received . Thanks all .  :wink:

So did some more work on the car . Found a leek on the petrel pump so me and my mate had a look
. It turned out not to be the pump but the plastic filter that fits to the side of the petrel tank  just above the pump   :evil:  . So of came the pump to get to the filter and it turned out it was one of the pipes . So fixed it and when we were putting it back in we broke the filter lug    . Lucky I had a spare so on with that one . Got it all in and it was leaking from the seem of the filter  :twisted: so I had one last spare filter left . So we did it all again and this time it was fine finely   8) . Also had to change the discs on the brakes because we had put them on the roung sides . Then we bled them and also connected the gear box to the gear stick . This took  all day as we did do the pump three times I think we could do this with are eyes shut know   .  Feeling like im going backwards all the time lol. :roll:

Hi all just a little update ive taken all the stone chip of the front and rear . Also the two sills to . Its not the most fun job :roll:  but its done now . So i can get on with some more body work now . Like getting wings painted and on and it all takes time which i seem to have less and less of at the moment .  

Hi all so I've primed and stone chipped the inside of my wings with gaviytex  and painted them so they can go on.

Sills in primer all clean no rusty .
