na not really mate, i had a LOT of dreamers at the begining of the ad but noone actually come look at it…
Had a fair few pxs as well every one seems to be struggling to sell things atm, and since its a 'luxury' as opposed to a necesity type of car its been a right struggle.

On ebay now though, just need to sell it so i can get my daily up to scratch

new tensioner added, as i werent keen on the fact i had to keep altering the tension as the belt wore itself in…

now fitted a gas strut to consistently provide a tension to the belt. Works a treat and isnt too powerful

Over all VERY happy with how it came out :D

and also a cheeky arty stylee photo of it in the snow :D

Hi there,

I know its an old topic, but i have a question about your vacuumconnection.

The location is in my opinion incorrect because when the throttle is closed there will be
an enourmous vacuum at your connection. The "normal" position of the vacuum should be
after the "throttlevalve" otherwise your engine will run at full advance at idle.

I've set up my mk1 16v kr with R1 carbs and no computer, i'm waiting for my programmable
ignition, so i don't need the vacuum. It runs at the moment with no vacuum at all and 14 degrees
fixed advance (i know this can burn a hole in the piston) but it is still under contruction.
The brakevacuum comes from a electrical vacuumpump and works great, even with the
engine off you will have a powerbrake. You have connected it to one of the runners, so
1 cylinder is always a little off.

But anyway love your work !! Car looks very nice !

Greetings from the Netherlands

I'd like the way it goessssssss !

What radiator did you use, coz i have the same conversion, but in traffic, my heat guage moves too far up for my liking….was looking at a RADTEC custom radiator £350 :ocf_emoticons__BangHead:
