cabby roof , adjustment and seals diagram wanted

I'd take pics but I've sold the cabby now! on the seals you put the sealant between the metal strips and the rubber seal. on the header seal you need to drill out the rivet each end and peel the seal away from the windscreen frame, then run a bead of sealant from the edge towards the middle

i have done my foam seal now .but was told but my trimmer to use this aswell i went for the 1ltr size 2 coats .on a mohair roof .not been out in the rain yet  :dontknow: Web Page Name

done mine now, waiting for it to rain to see if its worked lol, i put silicone around the end screw like people say and around the front end of that seal around 5cm back like people have said to do

if i think i know what your saying why would you put silicone under a rubber seal ??? becuase i did see where people have done this in the past but can't understand why thats if we are on about same thing,

and none of the guides show this so i never bothered
