at least it didn't break down during the MOT

I always feel like a fresh MOT gives me a little breathing space on fixing things, funny how Mk1's always have a different idea hey

had a good time on the cabby

made a new parcel shelf at work as the old one was looking a bit tired

looks good and nobody can tell theres some speakers in there :)

then fitted some rear seat speakers as there wasn't any

then i pulled all the seats out to wash the interior and thought i would sort this amp out

but when i dug a bit deeper i decided to pull the 2 old alarms and the imboaliser out as i think it was draining the battery. so i soon had all the dash out

got a bit carried away opps!!!!

this is what was left of the alarms

then put it all back together

then washed the beast inside and out

then thought i would go to a ice spot to take some snaps not to bad i think

all cleaned a ready to go to gti festival on sunday :)

still sounds okay though?  i've got some 6x'9s i wanted  to stick in my clipper but thought the hood  down would make them a bit pointless

nice work by the way, love the wheels

Hi Mate,
no probs with the help today.
At least I have had bit of experience doing them now.
Will sort out the dimensions for the insulation bag, for your Lass lol.
Get her busy on the sewing machine.
I drove through the back roads, lovely scenery lol.
you should put some pics up off the rear of the new hood.
Hopefully leak free now

It's deffo a 2 man job especially one of them a midget to scramble around in the car.
That hood is fantastic Quality and a reaaly good fit too.

If I do another I will deffo get one.

Cheers for the parcel shelf, was gonna cover it and get it in when I got back, but it just has not stopped lashing down.
