well yesterday gave it a service

then today a good clean and sorted a few problems

rear fog now working

front d/s indicator now working

6x9s in the parcel shelf now working

and the horn now works

all in all a good weekend



even got a bit of time to drive around with the roof down  :D  :D  what a feeling :mrgreen:

right then!!!

fitted new gearlinkage set on saturday which has made a massive difference!!!! good times :) :)

today been sorting out a few problems but nothing major

also pick up some wheels tonight so the p slot can come off for a refurb

need some advise on suspension coilover or sport springs and shocks????

only want it lowering 40mm really just make things look a bit nicer

yea just got my old whels of project rot box which i've refurbs at work over the past few months as i have 4 brand new tyres for them

the p slots are coming off for a full refurb over winter

went out there with a goal today of getting my locking wheel bolt off

and within 10 minute is was off  :cheer:  :cheer:

with a grinder put a slit in it, then with a hammer and a large screw driver gave it a good wack!!!! and it came off



then with todays job already done i thought i would start putting my new suspension on!!!!

sports kit -40mm drop new top mounts all round

made a start on the rear first





then within 2hours that was done….!!!! :dance:  :dance:

so made a start on the fronts



within 2 hour that was done  :cheer:  :cheer:

then i've been doing these at work last week, all they need was a good top coat and they were ready so i did that

don't tell Mrs Jellybelly but this is the strange smell coming from the airing cuboard





off to the trye shop tomorrow so they should be on the car soon

what a productive day  :dance:

plus i forgot to say that i notice that the P Slots that i have are 14" which is a bonus i thought they were 15"

going to cheak the part number tomorrow to see is i have "A" or "AA"

i'll get some pics of the car tomorrow ran out of day light :)

well more work done today

then went to the tyre shop i always use and they stuck the tyres on my wheels for £30 cash well happy:)

so here it is with it's winter wheels on………….

think you're making great progress, well done.

good job on the wheels, are they powdercoated?

I love the locking wheel nut off method, that is innovative car resto material!

and 4 hours to replace all suspension?  took me two weeks!! you have no trouble with the bolts at the back??

Keep it up anyway dude, what's next on the agenda?

i had no trouble with the suspension at all, which is good!!!:)

i sprayed the wheel with POR-15 which has come out well i think

next job is already happening

new exhaust gasket but it's a right pig of a job

should have it done tomorrow tho hopefully

had a good day today

fixed my leaking handles :)

dryed out the interior

set the timing which was well out now it's running like a dream :)

all in all a productive day :)

well thought i'd sorted my leaking handle but still got a drip :(

also leaking in the boot where the hood meets the body at the back quaters

not sure what to do :(

right leak is not sorted out by putting a cover over it :lol:

also went a trip over to nottingham today to pick up a new down pipe

hopefully tomorrow i'll get that fitted :)
