Undate on car it's nearly ready for paint now after having new rear arches fit aswell as a bottom rear panel.  Also since last time I posted I've got myself a 5 speed box for my 1.3 with a adjusted mount so it fits straight in. And have got my self a mint gti interior. Will update with some new pics shortly hoping to have it back on the road mid next year.

after finishing stripping the shell of its wiring and any bits and pieces i then fitted it to this -

then i had the rotten rear arches and panel removed and had new 1s installed

then had the arches blended in and at the same time had the arches rolled and sealed

now ive cleaned all the inner arches and engine bay with thinners to remove all the built up dirty and grease

smoothed the tailgate

started flatting down all the panels

hopefully want to have it in paint over christmas.
