If I want to buy a rocco I go on the rocco forum, if I want to buy a toyota prius taillight I go to that forum. Simples.

One minute people complain of bandwidth issues the next they want to post non-Mk1 stuff. Its members who fund this site for the free use of non-members and they should have the choice. I would rather memberhip fees went towards funding Mk1 topics and kept this the top Mk1 specialist site in the world. Dilute the content, dilute the Club.

I would laugh at this, but as a Mk1 owner, I'm too stuck up to do such a thing.

You could offer the cabby for sale on here with the 'rocco as a free donor vehicle… that seems to have worked for someone else in the cars for sale section.

Otherwise list just the 'rocco engine and throw in the shell free, that also worked for a user a while back who had a G40 polo.

I had a thread for a MK2 16v donor deleted a while back and felt very peeved off, but it sold elsewhere and was fixed up and not parted out. On the flip-side I've bought some really good stuff through the forum, and found some helpful advice. It's all swings and roundabouts on the Mk1OC, for some members literally!

Anyway good luck with it Coops, were not all knuckle-shufflers.

i think a small group of you on here ruin this site. i joined this site thinking it was guna be cool talking to like minded mk1 owners. sharing the same enthusiasm over the vdub's. i was wrong, you all argure over pointless things. and most with bad attitudes. why dont you go work on your mk1's instead of sitting on your laptop being an internet warrior! and before some clever div leaves a reply on this, dont bother i wont read it as i will never come back on to this site again.

and i find your post rather disturbing as you seen to think everyone on here is out to argue thats not the case i think you will find we like to have a laugh and joke and most of this thread should be taken tongue in cheek
