well what a story,it was seized solid last night,wouldnt turn over by tow starting either,put oil in the bores over night,tried this morning with a breaker bar on the crank and it turned,job done i thought  :roll:  i tried starting it,just blew back out the carb,ahh,valve timing? took the belt off and retimed it,it was way out,the guy that timed the belt after the head gasket change had used the wrong marks,i took the cam cover off to check the cam position,it was all rusty? no oil on it after turning for 5 mins or so,took the new looking oil filter off,bone dry,assumed oil pump,took the dizzy out to find it hadnt been fitted properly so the oil pump wasnt turning,i slotted a long bolt and spun the pump with a drill,the oil came up to the cam ok,put dizzy back in……………jobs a good un  :wink:   8) sounds good,just needs all the covers putting back on and its good to go  8)
Dazzzzzzzzzzzzle is on polish duty tomorrow  :wink:

Picked up a tonneau cover from Quinton Sunday and he told me he had already offloaded the car to a couple of guys and muttered something about a cut n shut ????  hahaha
