first time for me. some nice cars there today.
One thing id have liked though was some more signs as you come off the motorway. Even if it was just a little sign saying 'mk1 golf show' cause we got lost abit as the directions we got didnt take us right to it
at least the rain held off aswel

Hi All,
First time for us today even though we have had the car 9 years. We enjoyed the day and saw some very nice cars and bought a few bits for the ongoing rebuild, also stopped off in Wolverhampton and collected a Quaiffe ATD recently won on Fleabay.
Well organised and full credit to those who put in all the hard work
Cheers Simon.

Hear Hear!
Echo all thats been said, it was exclent and a great venue.
Last year good , this year better
the range of cars was great, from the Brian Ricketts 16v valve conversion, to the original 1 owner diesel that had been driven all the way from Malta !
Raj's Oettinger 16 soupapes was probably the favourite for me, inlet valve's a work of art
Congratulations on a great job
Chris

Excellent weekend, went down friday night and had a quality weekend, will definately go next year. Convoy was a good laugh, even if my car has issues with the accelerator pedal. Was good to see so many mk1s out together. Shame about the weather today put a bit of a dampner on procedings.
