Gotta ?

My German buddy is using a Golf rear end to make a 3-door Mk1 Jetta into an estate car. Will be an interesting project   :)

yeah, I could see that one too. He's going to use plexi glas or makrolon and I guess he'll be able to get some seals made up.

because it probably needed a lot of work  :dontknow: … It's a different idea and may look great when finished… maybe VW missed a trick in not making this estate…  really interested to see if it looks good finished

maybe they are not as rare over in germany as they are here, i have a book of a mk1 scirocco estate which was made by some custom company and it had a similar size rear windows, interesting project.

None showing recent progress (I think it's going to be a long project). They're just from different angles but highlight the amount of work that is going to be required for a 'seamless' finish…

I'd rather watch someone else hacking up shells than do it myself John. Not sure I could do that to a 3 door Jetta but they're more abundant in Germany of course.

I'm doing fine thanks and a return to driving is slowly coming round. All being well I should be able to re-apply for my licence in September, with view to getting it in November. Just in time for salty roads  :banghead:
