Have you tried Quinn? My mates 17, took out his own policy on a 1.3 civic and he's only paying ?700.
Another friend of mine got a quote with his dad, that was, if his dad is insured on a car then so is he. Therefore he can drive any car his dad can. He's driving a 2.0 GT Celica at 17. And his dad is only paying out ?550
