Well im 30 year old teacher and I have an 18 year old to play with everyday! The wife knows, so i'm in the clear. My school know aswell, they let me play with her in the car park! tidy! :twisted:  :mrgreen:

im 17 and the golf is 26 !!!!

well i'm 27 and got in to old cars a few years ago got my 1st mk1 a year ago and still learning the car is a 86 cabby at the mo so not too much age difference

Design & Technology, the best subject of course!  :mrgreen: Also quite handy when it comes to making this and that :wink:

errr… 40+…. got my first VW @25 years ago which makes me feel old as half you weren't even born then.

But its good to see there is a wide spread of ages and its not only pre-teen Saxo boys or OAP MGB types  

Had my frist MK1 at 27-28 and got another one at 32

Been to Skegness and stayed at a B&B that had a pet monkey and - this is another age admission - we saw Dr No at the cinema when it first came out.
Yes, driving to Le Mans and camping for the first time in our lives.

hope weather is nice in that part of the world .  first and last time we went camping it rained for 10 days    and the tent was attacked by herring gulls at app 4 oclock most morning but that was in cornwall

I was so impressed with my sons 2 x Mk1`s and Mk 3?? Polo GT that when he moved on to a modern Polo GTi as he got fed up of the reliability issues and the niggles that go with owning a Mk1 I sort of inherited a project from him. (I actually think he`s regretting it a bit)

I only intended to get the Mk 1 up and running but I`ve just sold my Porsche 951 (944 Turbo) as I`m so impressed with my little Mk1. I dont drive the 951 anymore as I`d rather take out the Mk1.

I cannot believe the attention it gets everywhere I go and they are so easy and cheap to work on.

My son Jonathan had an immaculate white MK 1 and fitted a Polo GT engine, went like the clappers.

My Mk 1`s a bit old and worn (like me  :wink: ) but I`m working on it.

Im 27 and the cabbs a wee baby at 17
