Yorkshire region trip to Scarborough June

me and Sue are going to this one,sounds great

I'll meet you all in Scarborough if I can, I'm usually there on a weekend to see my folks anyway. I'll have to pass on the tour bits though (Yorks Meet drive or Big Fat Tour bit) got to save the pennies now. Should be a good turn out…hope the seafront can fit us all in  

I voted saturday but i'm happy to go on sunday, Should we meet at sainsburys car park in colton again ? its on the way for a lot of people

I'd suggested an evening drive out through a local rual beauty spot but hadn't noticed I'd booked a clash!!!

What time is everyone meeting at Scarborough? I can't do a B & B cause I've got a mates wedding the night before (but won't be drinking anyway) but its a 3 hour drive across to Scarborough to begin with so it looks like I won't be there. Sorry folks but I can't do a late finish and at least a 5am rise!!!  ops:

The Big Fat Tour (which the Yorkshire Meet is planning to join in with, at that point at least) won't arrive in Scarborough til 1pm.

After giving this some careful consideration we have a cunning plan.

We are looking to join the big fat tour at 1 in Scarborough.  

The Plan

10:00 - Meet at Colton Sainsbury's
10:30 - Leave Colton - Head Eastbound (and down) well up really to A64
11:15 - Stop on A64 at chip shop near Original factory shop for regroup
12:30 - Arrive Scarborough Marine Drive

A map will be supplied at Colton and contact details.

See you at 10:00

Diesel dubber are you meeting us there? if you want to join en route let us know and we can look at a stopping place co you can join our convoy 10-4

It's a mk2 eBay wonder.

It rocks, but it's no mk1 golf.

I've not got anything else on that day so barring any disasters I'll be there, most probably at Colton.

unfortunately i'm not gonna make this or the big fat tour. i've just quit my job, so money is gonna be tight til i find summat else…
