my golf project
getting it home i put it on the drive and not really looked at it till the other day the under side of the car looks good with bits of weld that needs to be looked at
and the inner arch looks a mess the person who did the repairs on it must of had a pigeon in his welding set or put the weld on with a catapolt
the car is a 1.6 gti cab
i'm thinking of putting a power hood on her lecky windows front and back and remove the silly front and back bumper and put proper ones back on
also i'm going to put leather seats in

hood off and getting ready to pull her heart out
up in the air to remove the driveshafts and bottom engine mount
this looks naff

should be doing more tomorrow if the wife don't find me something to do around the house lol

don't think i'm keeping the colour thinkin more of a burn copper colour
puttin a stainless exhaust on which i'm makin myself
lookin at the moment for somewhere to get it acid dipped

but i have to get the chassis number stamped in at vosa
i don't know if i can do this here but i have loads off bit up for grabs
1.6 engine and box
air filter box and most of the bits out the engine bay
i would like it to go to golf nuts like yourselfs
if i can't advertise here sorry bump

also done a bit of body work today and she in need of a inner arch
so crazyquifs will be getting a call soon

the police have been and told me that from the looks of things it is stolen but as there is no other markings on the car and all the ones that are there match there is nothing they can do

this is just a thought but if its a stolen car wont they Q plate it ?
this would make the car worth less money and add more to the cost of insurance. :dontknow:

it's only the one chassis number missing the other two are there and the engine number match's
