polo gt engine in a mk1

Wireing is easy..   And injection will run properly.. I hate carbs.

am in the process of ripping my golf apart to do this, first engine conversion and glad to hear wiring is easy, i was scared about that. Kinda dreading the fuel delivery.

One question, what the easiest way to get engine out, lift it or drop it out? whichever one, how? Dont particularly want to rent the crane until im putting the new engine in.

Dont suppose anyone has done this conversion nearby Watford, herts

Drop it on the floor, lIft the body up and pull it out.

So which wires Re needed to master up to the oringal loom and shaft fuse box used
