Or we all have to go out and buy another mk1 so we can get the sticker.   

That sticker is already available. It's a good one for daily driver non-Mk1s as you can still advertise the club and have fun with it. Plus it is the cling type sticker so you can move it from car to car without having to buy a new one each time  :wink:

Are you serious? I would be truly amazed if anyone took a sticker they saw on a car seriously enough to consider it slanderous.

But it's true, we're all very protective about our kids… cars, I mean CARS!

But nobody has suggested anything that's even remotely offensive, unless I've missed something, that is.

about a year ago, i was enjoying my mk1 gti, there was a rover with an elderley couple in, i overtook it, and so a few minutes later i was at the lights and the rover was on the left of me, the driver goes to me "you did'nt have to speed, we're both at the lights, waiting." i said "yeah, but i had fun gettin here"

so im gonna go for
