MK1 Golf 'CC' Edition MINT

Got to sell this car just wondering how much its worth.
Its 110% mint its been in a garage for the last 10 years not moved.
Going change the belts then get it started and put 12 month ticket on it.

No rust. No Dents.
Roof looks like its brand new.
Been garaged all its life.
its 1.8 GTI CC Edition Every aspect of it is mint.

Just wondering what its worth.
Regards, Rob.

If its a kinda barn find do you have any paper work? Whats the miles? You had it runnig?
You will spend 200 to give it a 10yr needed service and then putting it through the MOT will also cost.

nicely dressed, (advertised - and prob not ebay, unless all boxes are ticked), imagine you will knocking at the 2000 door?

its a common phrase but, whatever the individual is willing to pay. Its just finding that individual

I'm not willing to start it until I change the belts.

I own a garage so all service / MOT will be free.

I have the Log book and all the documentation and keys

It was in a garage I brought with a farm and the owner said I can keep every thing in the garage as there new property only has parking for 3 cars.

Hard to say in current climate of another CC….the credit crunch…..see what I did there!!….

It looks great.  :)  Some better pics would help.  The 'look'/style of the CC (Christmas Cabriolet?) can be an acquired taste re the white colour coding.  At the end of the day it's down to the old saying….'it's worth what someone will pay for it.'  And it is probably worth the same as any other GTI cabriolet of that spec and year and condition of course; regardless of it being a 'CC' edition. :?

I'd watch a few Golf cabrios on ebay and see what they fetch…..I have watched a few small bumper models on ebay recently and they have only gone up to a few hundreds of pounds and not met reserve…… :(

Good luck, but I'd wait 'til summer or wait for a few summmers when the other 'CC' is over.

Myth!!

It means "Christmas Cabriolet", although I think since the hood has been replaced from white to another colour, it could trip you up.

Its not ongoing, its pretty conclusive that CC standing for Coco Chanel, is a myth. Could be worth a search, to find relevant discussion threads.

How come the hoods still got the CC writing on the hood ? Did they never come in black ?

German manufacture, French designer; makes perfect sense!!

Altho Coco C in 84 done massive marketing to honor of the late Coco Chanel??

I vote the hood is correct and also that 'CC' stands for VWGB's Christmas Cabriolet special edition.  This has been covered somewhere before on the forum I think.  There were some sister models aswell with other strange names…i don't think they did an 'Easter Bunny' Cabrio though…..
