You haven't hung about! It doesn't look too bad to start with? Are you keeping standard?

Cheers

Thanks lads -

Yes keeping it completely standard, only changing a few small bits and pieces - The engine is staying standard as is the interior -

A few small suttle upgrades for the exterior but thats it -

All the underneath of the car is now layered with protectant paint, as are all the arches - Sanded away for hours then applied paint -

Both doors and the exterior were sanded down and painted also -

More pics to come soon -

Any suggestions welcome -

Thanks -

opposite side of the world

ireland i assume, i don't think NZL has anything to do with the country, new zealand would only be able to have 999 cars if that was the case ;)

1983 Polo CL - daily

1984 Golf G60 Syncro - sold

1989 Rallye Golf - sold

1992 Corrado G60 - crushed

Very good show as the weather does be great
Have a look back at events in vagdrivers and you'll see some pic's
I think it's the best Ireland has to offer in the line of a vw show

Hey James -

I know what you mean about the money, I am still in collegee, only 22 myself - Started this project at 21, its hard to get the money together but it all pays off in the end -

The respray was done by a friend in Ireland - I stripped the car to the shell and he did his magic - He had it for about 4 months before I got it back - The price I paid was in euro so dont know how much sterling it is

Let me know your progress with your mk1 -

Starting at an early age means more time for learning   -
