Yone don't NEED to be in a Mk1. Just come along and have some fun!!! you can score more point if you DO turn up in a VAG car though!!!!!

alternator sorted, was a slowly discharging battery! new dissy being fitted today, will have to wait and see still as she has'nt ran well for months now so theres gonna be a whole lot of cleaning(carb etc), not to mention the car has'nt turned a wheel since weeks before christmas! other than that who knows! :dontknow:

New dissy on and running really well, sadly this has now presented another problem which i thought was linked to the dissy, the carb is spitting fuel back out, checked instructions and it should have a t piece with a restrictor at 1 end! at least she's running, all be it spitting fuel out! will have to see about coming in the daily.

Failed MoT.  

Rear brake stuck, washers decided not to work and emissions high, (new Weber not set up properly!)…

Not done anything to car since bought, so I guess I have a growing list…..nothing at all serious though…..Won't take long but too late for tomorrow…..   

Would rather be in the Cabby rather than the 'daily d'.
