Credit to the Golf - its the oldest car there. The others are all far newer and made it into the "scrapheap pile".

Personally I'd love to see a mk1 Golf feature, even if they do trash/burn/drown it. So what if they do? What the Morris Marina club have failed to realise, is that all publicity is good publicity.

They should have dropped a MK1 golf on it, like the old advert, just as a thorn in the side

how do you figure that out. theres a morris 1000/minor in that pile which i'm sure is a lot older than the golf.


although i do admit the rest are all newer so i agree in part. :wink:

i was screaming and swearign at the telly last night! lol. my fella also has a mk1 and he was like "gawd woman get a grip its probably rotten. they wouldnt put it there for no reason."  :cry:

i was nearly cryin cant believe a mk1 golf and a mk1 escort both got sqashed i would of give my right arm to save that escort.

the black one got cleared by the caravan and the jag! IT LIVED!!!

Saw this last night and it was a shocker…. I would have had the boot lid off of it!!  I aint going to complain to them though as they'll go nuts and burn one of ours!!!

I suppose there are loads of car clubs out there spotting "their" cars in the bunch and having a heart-attack… it must have been rotten (that's how I console myself).

The missus was trying to convince me I was seeing things… then they walked back past them all and there was no denying it was a mk1…

good tv though… I was laughing when the piano slapped into their second marina!!!
