Scottish Mk1 meet.

Well I have almost got a Mk1 back on the road (MOT MONDAY) and Can't wait to drive it…
So thinking of next year now and I thought I would organise a wee meeting…

Thinking on taking advantage of the Scottish hills and a wee trip to the Ski centres( no snow….) Around March/April 2009 time.

I know there are a number of other car clubs that organise events around this time /locus. I was going to get in touch with them and see what their plans are and jointly organise something, do a double/tripple headerof nice cars……

What you all think?

My family were originally from Cambuslang near Glasgow.  it's a 4-5 hour drive from Northants so i'll probably never take the mk1 that far.. thanks for the offer though  :wink:   Hope you get a lot of buy in and let us know how it goes!!

you can always turn up in your daily its about meeting folk, and you could get some good tips too

would be up for this if i can get the car on the road or then ops:

oh & as long as you can make sure the sun is out so i can get the roof down 8)  8)

I've always wanted to go to Scotland!

I'll keep an eye on this, if I have some cash in my pocket I might incorporate it into a holiday
