So this is happening this Tuesday coming yeah?  Just a little bump to remind people.  I'm 50/50 on if I can attend in the mk1 but hopefully I'll be there… how many are attending?

Hmmmm… if it's not icey the missus and I will be along in the mk1.. (decided not to strip it until I try to make this meet).  If it is icey I apologise and we'll be along once all the works done one it… been looking forward to this!!

I have taken my mk1 to work today… due to MrsAnt5 car in for a service and needs a car today (the Mk4) So i had to pick the coldest day of the year to drive 90 mile round trip on icy roads and with salt  

It was fun though,  

So everthing going to plan and driving safely on the way home …. see you there

But my car decided to run out of electricity yesterday, so I can't… really annoyed…..!!

Looks like the snow/ice has nearly melted WOOHOO!!!!  The missus and I will be there for around seven thirty.  

I'll be the one with a snot moustache, stuck in a sort of bent over driving position as my heater isn't working… the missus will be in a similar stance mumbling about me paying more attention to the car than her or something lol……. she aint that bad bless her.. she likes the mk1 now.  

See you all there… been looking forward to this… the man "up stairs" has worked wonders with that "defrosting machine"  :wink: …. also known as the sun.. it's splitting the trees      GET IN!!!!

Sorry mate, I got the car back but not in time, I even phoned Sam_m see if we could rush it, not long made it back.

Had my Altenator rebuild in the end, ?50    

Will make one soon though mate, that's a promise.

so was i, but some idiot decided to roll his car on the M4, which caused me an hour delay in getting Wendy to the doctors, then we had to go via the in laws!!!!

Think we had 7 Mk1s in the end so a great turnout for a first meet on a freezing January night. Nice one everyone and good to put names to faces.  :clap:
